Document Delivery Portal provides a secure method to deliver documents to Epiq TCMS products. This system provides an alternative method to receive documents and may be used instead of receiving email messages with large file attachments. It allows tracking of sent and received documents. The documents are delivered directly to your TCMS application ready to import with your ECF documents.
Debtor Attorneys must be invited to submit documents to you.
You can do this through the application by selecting their name from within Case/People, right clicking and selecting ‘Send DDP invitation to selected Debtor Attorneys’
You can also invite them by using the 341 Meeting Screen. You select the meetings you wish to send document instructions to, and if those Debtor Attorneys have not been invited to use DDP, it will send them an email.
If the Debtor Attorney has already been invited to use DDP, it will send them the document instructions.
You can customize the emails you send to attorneys by going to File/Options/Trustee Settings/Document Delivery Options.
There are customizable templates for the invitation sent to debtor attorneys to submit documents to you, one for document instructions, and three deficiency notifications.
If you don’t want to customize the template, we have default options set up that will include your information for them.
Deficiency Notifications –
You must opt in for deficiency noticing for missing required documents.
You need to set up required document categories in File/Options/Trustee Settings/Document Delivery Options.
You also need to ‘opt in’ in File/Options/Trustee Settings/Document Delivery Options.
You can opt in for one to three notices. You can set the noticing days based on how many days prior to the 341 meeting date the email notification should be sent.
There is a quick view on the home screen that will list meetings with deficient documents.
Also, there is an additional column option available on the 341 meeting screen that will show you if you have any deficient meetings.
Additional information for the Debtor Attorneys –
If you want additional instructions available upon uploading documents for the Debtor Attorneys to review, you can set this up in the File/Options/Trustee Settings/Document Delivery Options/ Trustee Info Block section. It will allow you to include the required documents list, the instructional email sent to them, and any additional notes you wish to add.
